What do you say is a kinda gothic name?

Do you guys have any names that sound Gothic, like in the sense of 19th century churches and things of that sort?

Thanks

Those are just three really good site for rare and also very unique gothic considered baby names...

As for my personal favorites: I am writing a story which come before July next year I'm sure will be well-known (I wish lol) but the character's name is Zarel...

Although didn't know it at first, I find out that I had used the name similar to Azrael an arch angel or Angel of Death...

For a girl I would perhaps consider

Dharla (also a character) which is a variation of Darla that I also came across on accident...

Other names you think of don't have to be dark but for gothic in particular it's more about creativity and rare uses or variations of the certain things considered "taboo" you could say...I hope the sites I've given you will help...Also, if you type in "List of Gothic Names" in google you should find many sources...Thanks for asking this question and best of wishes! ^_^
Reply:Well some big names from the bible would be Mary, Caleb, Noah, Moses. Those all sound like names people would call each other in the 19th century.

However, and this will blow your mind, we live in a house that was built in the late 1800s and found several letters in the attic just recently when we were replacing the attic and in none of the letters do they ever refer to a person's first name. It is always H. R. Smith or R. J. Jones. Anyway, the letters are actually pretty cool.
Reply:I remember hearing the name Destin / Desten in Ancient History class. I can't remember if it was someone's name or if it was an old city, something of that sort. Griffin sounds gothic. As well as DaVinci for a girl.
Reply:Roman, Norman, Benedict, Abby, Denis, Abbot, Bertrand, Francoise, Beauvais, Florence, Milan, Milana, Chapelle, Laon, Carlisle
